Our dreams often communicate with us in a unique language, filled with mysterious symbols, to bring awareness to our unconscious thoughts. They often reveal our true feelings, intentions, solutions to problems, and guide us towards our pain for healing.

After analyzing over 50,000 dreams in my life, I noticed a peculiar pattern that might be directly linked to our chakras. Chakras refer to the seven main energy points in your body. They are considered to be spinning disks or (Sanskrit) “wheels” of energy located from the base of the spine up to the crown of the head. These chakra centers govern our thinking, feelings, sensations, emotions, perceptions, and intuition.

You might wonder what chakras have to do with dreaming. Typically, a blocked, overactive, or imbalanced chakra can affect our emotional and physical well-being; an off-kilter chakra might be the cause behind insomnia, recurring themes, and vivid nightmares. The psyche will attempt to alert the dreamer to where this Past Emotional Pain is located by using various symbols and colors within the vicinity of the chakra. The iconic image of the snake(s) is commonly known to appear in dreams related to a blocked or healed chakra. Doors, elevators, or windows that open indicate that this energy is now flowing.

When these chakras are aligned, the energy of the universe opens up to both our physical self and spiritual self. Our sleep will not only become more peaceful, but our dreams also become more animated and symbolic.
